🎁 “If You Don’t Ask, You Don’t Get”: Sharing My Photography Wish List
This year, for the first time in a long time, I’m doing something that feels a bit strange — I’m asking for help.
Not because I expect anything, but because I’m finally building something that matters deeply to me.
Photography has always been in the background, waiting quietly while life unfolded.
Now, I’m bringing it to the front — not just as a creative outlet, but as the foundation of my new career.
Why I’ve Created a Wish List
My birthday is coming up soon, and usually, I’m the type who says, “Don’t worry about me, I don’t need anything.” But this year, my mam said something that stuck:
“If you don’t ask, you don’t get.”
So — I’ve made a small Amazon Wish List with a few photography-related items I’ve had my eye on. Just things that would make life a bit easier — spare accessories, small upgrades, or gear I’ve been holding off on.
It’s not about asking for luxury — it’s about inviting people into the journey, even in a small way.
🧡 Support Comes in Many Forms
I’ve also included a support link — a way for anyone who prefers to chip in toward:
Fuel for photography trips in the van
Editing software and subscriptions
Website or printing costs
Or just a cup of coffee while I’m out shooting in the hills!
There’s absolutely no pressure.
Whether you follow my blog, like a photo, send a kind message, or click the support button — it all means something.
Want to Take a Look?
Why It Matters
Starting a creative career — especially later in life, and while managing disability — isn’t easy.
But it’s honest work, and I’m proud of it.
So, if you’ve ever believed in someone chasing a dream from scratch — thank you for believing in me, too.
I’ll keep doing the work.
Keep showing up.
And keep sharing the world through Emma’s Lens.
